LNER A4

The LNER A4 is another model I did for the development of the Zeitgeist Modification for Half Life 2. Three models were asked with specific color-sets.

I was able to use a lot of experience I got from the Wolseley to build the train more efficiently and although there are things I would do different, there are a lot less comparing to the Wolseley.

Modeling, Texturing (diffuse, specular, normal) and Renderings are all done by me, also the model is built to be animated.

Polycount: 18615

Rendered with Mental Ray

I also tried out Vray. I really like the look of it but somehow Vray doesn't render as it should. I'm not sure that the Normalmap works everywhere and I have no idea why Vray produces those triangles in front of the drivers cabin.

Wolseley 18/85

I've been working on this one for a longer time now. It's an 1936 Wolseley 18/85 Police Car, fitting for the scenario of the Zeitgeist Modification for Half Life 2 (Zeitgeist).

I'm pretty okay with the outcome, though like always there are a lot of things I would do different if I would start again.

Restrictions: ~12k Tris, actual Polycount: 12.812 (with some optional details)

Feedback and Critics are welcome!

Zeitgeist [WIP]

After some unfinished and unreleased projects, it was time to post a new one. I went to a clock-museum to get some inspiration and one clock in particular caught my eye.

This is still work in progress and unpolished. Strangely in the render in the background you could see "Physical Sun and Sky" (Renderfeature), but wasn't safed in the png although you can still see it in the reflections and refractions and because of that the glass looks weird. Also the clockhands and some detail is missing. Once I'm finished I will post again. Feedback and critics are welcome.
